Description

The Google Art Project's walk-through of 17 art galleries from around the world has raised many questions about strategies to represent museums and their collections online: http://www.googleartproject.com/

In the MW2011 Closing Plenary, we'll explore these issues with representatives of institutions who participated in the Google Art Project. The session will be in two parts:

  • Ignite-style Presentations (20 slides / 20 seconds each) from two museums presenting their experiences and the challenges the project raised
  • A Panel Discussion, including a representative from Google, answering your questions from the floor – and the comments here!

Bring your thoughts and questions to this discussion.
