Mutter Museum New Media Tour and Briefing
Abstract
The College of Physicians of Philadelphia and Mütter Museum staff will describe their various web and mobile initiatives, including:
- the YouTube series No Bones About It and Gray Matters,
- cell phone and iPhone application tours of the museum (including an app to accompany an exhibit curated by the College’s high school Junior Fellows)
- a digital library consortium project, social media presence, and
- www.historyofvaccines.org, which features the collections of the museum and Historical Medical Library in a visually engaging, interactive website that explores the history of immunization.
Visitors will then enjoy an introduction to the fascinating anatomical and pathology collections displayed in the Mütter Museum as well as time to explore the exhibits on their own.
