IMLS Briefing

Abstract

The session will provide an overview of grant funding opportunities available through IMLS and will discuss a new initiative by the agency to build a comprehensive inventory of museums in the United States called Museums Count. The Museums Count briefing will relate the project to the IMLS research agenda, provide a timeline for the initiative, and discuss the benefits the project is intended to convey to the museum community and the public.
