Museums and the Web

An annual conference exploring the social, cultural, design, technological, economic, and organizational issues of culture, science and heritage on-line.

Museums and the Web 2012 (MW2012): Scholarships and Volunteers

Scholarships ensure representation from around the world at MW2012. Volunteers can 'trade' helping out for free registration.

Professional Scholarships

New and innovative accomplishments on the Web come from all kinds of organizations throughout the world. We recognise that many individuals who make significant contributions to the World Wide Web would be unable to attend MW2012 without some financial assistance. Competitive scholarships covering full conference registration and a full day of workshops will be awarded to a select number of applicants. In special cases, some support will also be offered for travel costs.

To be eligible, you must have made a significant contribution to the development of a cultural or heritage website or digital initiative, and must demonstrate that you would not be able to attend the meeting without support.

Scholarships are sponsored by companies active in Museums and the Web and the application is posted here.
