Why:

LEGO® Castle Adventure is a traveling exhibit created by The Children's Museum of Indianapolis and will debut at The Children's Museum on January 30, 2009. This website is intended to accompany the exhibit.

The Castle Adventure website allows users of all ages to learn about the exhibit, download the exhibit's unit of study, and take part in an online, educational game that's all about medieval times and castle life. Users can create an account, complete mini-games to fill their treasure room with winnings, and even create their own Coat of Arms which follows them throughout the site. Their personal Coat of Arms will also be added to the Coat of Arms gallery for everyone else to see.

The site also encourages users to visit the exhibit. Users can earn bonus marks on their Coats of Arms by providing answers to questions that require visiting the exhibit.

This website will also be available to all the other museums who host the exhibit over the course of the next several years.
