SEAD Network seeking cross-disciplinary evaluation data
The SEAD Network Learning and Education Working Group is seeking to see what is being done in relation to the intersection of science, engineering, arts, and design (SEAD) and to collect existing data on that intersection to gain an overview of the ways cross-disciplinary work among science/engineering and art/design are currently designed and evaluated.
Museums:
We would like to access information on any type of work and formal or informal evaluations performed on museum exhibits, floor programming, field trips, outreach, in-school programming, public programming, teacher and staff professional development, educational events, research, and any other SEAD-related programming.
For a future evaluation study, we also seek information on upcoming programming and events (exhibitions, screenings...) in which you are involved, that involve art and design engaging science and engineering. Events can be scheduled for any time in 2013-14. For example, scheduled DIY/hacker related workshops, informal education programs, school programming, STEAM exhibitions, screenings, and ongoing projects that lend themselves to measurement/evaluation of various types.
Please send links and descriptions of past work that has been evaluated, that you agree to share with SEAD, and / or links and information to upcoming projects we may include in our current study.
