Philly Museum and Technology Meetup Group

During MW2011, I mentioned to some of you that I wanted to get together at a later date to continue the great conversations started at the conference. To that end, I have started a meetup.com group and proposed a time for us all to get together:

Bluecadet is helping to plan the event and has generously offered to host the party at their very cool Northern Liberties office next Thursday, May 5, at 6:00PM.

I hoping this get together will be a fun and informal way to introduce ourselves, share what we’re doing (or wish we were doing) at our museums/businesses/organizations, talk about possible collaborations, and talk about ways that we can continue these conversations that are helpful for everyone’s learning and professional development.

Bluecadet and I will get some beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks for the event.

If you would like to attend this or other events (or just keep up-to-date on what we are doing) please go to the meetup.com site and join our group. There is absolutely no commitment.

This is not exclusively for people who were at the MW2011 conference, so please invite anyone who think would be interested.

I hope to see you soon!

My best regards,

Aaron
