I've written up my notes from the OpenSearch session and a quick how-to for anyone interested in implementing a quick, open interface for experimenting:

I figured the most logical place for the notes was Mia RIdge's wiki about Museums and the Machine-Processable Web, so be sure to check out the entire wiki while you're there; there are a lot of smart people doing things I'm still struggling to get my head around (hence OpenSearch as a shortcut!). :)

Thanks to everyone who attended for a fun and informative session!
