I have the impression that the ICHIM Conferences are focused in New Technologies experimentation in a broader scope than the  web . I´m looking forward to know when will the next Conference take place?

From 1991 to 2007 we held ICHIM every other year to explore the nature of interactivity and the policy and social implications of non-linear multi-media. From 2001 to 2005 the conference was co-organized in Europe by Xavier Perrot who introduced a focus on the boundaries of art and science and initiated a series of brilliant and edgy art/science shows in conjunction with each event. When Xavier fell ill in 2006, we agreed to host ICHIM inToronto in hopes that he could resume them in Europe on his recovery. Unfortunately Xavier succumbed to cancer before the 2007 event which we dedicated to him. Realizing that we could not replicate ICHIM in Europe without him, we have ended that series after a successful 16 year run.
