It was a very challenging process, as Members of the international Program Committee reviewed many more submissions than we could possibly accept. Notification will be sent by email to the addresses in your proposal [and won't all come at once. Please get in touch with us if you have not heard by the end of the month.]

As Co-Chairs, David and I review all the comments from the Program Committee, and then group the best proposals by type and theme, fleshing out the program. The pictures of the process show how organic it is. The whole thing then goes back to the Committee for review before we send the results out.

With a bottom-up program development process, we're sure that the themes on the program are the ones that are on your mind. And we're going to heed your input after MW2009 and think about ways to add more informal 'unconference' sessions to the schedule as well. Watch for news about that shortly.
