Museums and the Web 2011: First 50 Demonstrations Scheduled
Fifty museum and non-profit demonstrations have now been scheduled to take place over two days in the exhibit hall alongside what promises to be the largest number of the commercial exhibits at Museums and the Web to date.
These Demonstrations, like the rest of the program and the exhibitors, illustrate where mobiles, social media, and data mashups have taken museums this past year. They continue to explore best practices for attracting members and visitors, serving education, and delivering compelling exhibits and experiences.
In addition, the winners of the Best of the Web 2011 Awards will join the Demonstrations, so you can see these sites up-close and talk to the people involved in making them.
Take a look now and plan your schedule to get to as many as you can. Demos are a great way to catch up on what's happened in the last year.
