carbon offsets from mw2008

One of the numbers we omitted to report after Museums and the Web 2008 was delegates' participation in our carbon offsets option. We decided to partner with carbonzero.ca to make it easy to offset the impact of travel to MW2008 [and are doing it again for MW2009!].

Here's how we did:

Location	Amount	Number	Total
Australia / Pacific / Asia	$75	3	$225
Europe	$30	19	$570
North America	$20	22	$440
	Total	44	$1,235

We've decided to match this amount, and so sent a donation of $2,470 to carbonzero.ca to offset the impact of MW2008.

Lets do better this year. Check off the Carbon Offset options when you register for MW2009 on-line.
