Note: Best of the Web nominations have not yet opened. The panel is still finalizing categories and process. There will be an announcement when the live nomination form is available.

if you'd like to plan ahead, here are the details for the MW2010 Best of the Web awards.

Our schedule will be the same as last year's, with nominations opening in January. Once again, all nominations will go right to the site [see last year's], so we can all watch them come in.

The Nomination Process and Contest Details will be similar to last year, with greater attention paid to campaigns targeted at the People's Choice award.

If you have any thoughts about the Best of the Web awards please let us know, through the feedback form, or by leaving a comment here.

i had an email query about this and thought that it would be useful to post the reply more broadly.

It is not a requirement for the Best of the Web that a site be in English. We have a multi-lingual panel, and will assign a reviewer who speaks the language of the site – or find one if necessary.

Last year's podcast winner Ràdio Web MACBA is [predominantly] in Spanish and Catalan.

We'd love to see more nominations from around the world.
