some modules to check out to improve social functionality on a drupal site:

no-one has used usertags: http://drupal.org/project/user_tags

question: how to get feeds from other places into profile pages?

  • try feedapi as a way to pull feeds from various services -- see http://drupal.org/project/feedapi http://drupal.org/node/207892 for discussion
  • cck fields in profiles? (check to see if you can get the rss to display that way)
