Bob Ketner is a product designer with an extensive background in ecommerce, loyalty programs, virtual worlds, and online startups. He has been part of product design and development in the fields of beverages, clothing, ecommerce, fragrance, publishing, toys, and virtual worlds. Bob founded the SDForum Virtual World SIG in Silicon Valley in 2006, and is a regular contributor to the Virtual Worlds@Work program at Strategic Business Insights (SBI). In 2008 Bob was a core organizer for "Virtual Worlds and Immersive Environments", an exploratory conference at NASA Ames Research Center. He has also presented on the topic at museum conferences, the Silicon Valley Innovation Institute, Engage Expo, and SRI. Bob holds an M.A. in Industrial Design.
