As Head of Education Marthe supervises the education and public services in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Mesdag Museum at The Hague.

Marthe de Vet has a degree in Art History from Leiden University. From 1999 to 2006 she worked at the Royal Cabinet of Paintings Mauritshuis at The Hague, where she was in charge of education and internet.
