Your Background

Your Biography

I work as a web content developer for the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles. I work on online exhibition content, educational content, games, social media, and mobile projects for various groups within the Trust. I have been fascinated recently by the ways that the boundaries between online and offline are collapsing, with the ways that social media is forcing crossovers between education and marketing, and with the empowering potential of games.

I left academic art history years ago to see what working in a museum is like, and never went back! For over 11 years I have been working in technology and am currently working on a Masters in Library and Information Science through San Jose State University's online program. I love to travel (my profile photo was taken at the market in Lalibella, Ethiopia), sew, cook, and make things.
