Your Biography

My name is Katerina Tzompanaki and I come from Crete, Greece. I took my bachelor degree on Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). After my basic studies I worked for a small period as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) consultant at a firm in Athens named "Cognity", and after that I returned to Crete, where I joined the FORTH institute and the Information Systems Laboratory. Here I worked for 2 years on Information Systems and the Semantic Web sector.Currently I am at the second year of my Master studies and I also work at FORTH with a scholarship. My research interests are in the field of ontologies and the semantic web and more specifically I am working on the CIDOC-CRM and the cultural heritage domain.
