Your Biography

Hugh Wallace is Head of Digital Media at National Museums Scotland, where he has overall responsibility for digital strategy and the online presence. Having gained an MA in Electronic Media he then worked in education and for a specialist web development agency. Prior to joining the museum sector he was Head of Interactive Media for Oxfam GB, the UK’s largest development charity, where he led the online approach to fundraising, campaigning and awareness raising. Supported by a keen and able team, his work to date at National Museums Scotland includes the overhaul of the organisational website, integrated social media planning and a number of mobile initiatives.
