Your Background

Your Biography

I am a Professor of Digital Humanities and acting Head of the Department of Information Studies at University College London; Director of the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities; and Vice-Dean for Research for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

My research is in the area of digital humanities. I am particularly
interested in the way that digital resources are used in the humanities
and cultural heritage; in the use of social media in these areas; and in
reading behaviour in physical and digital spaces. I am lead researcher
of the User Experience group of the INKE project, Principle Investigator of the QRator project, associate director of LinkSphere, and co-investigator of the Digital Humanities Open Education Resources Project . I collaborate widely, especially with researchers in Canada and the USA. Further information about previous funded research can be found on my research page.
