Maryanna Rogers

Maryanna currently lectures at the and designs open learning spaces with the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab and The Tech Museum of Innovation. She received a doctoral degree from the Stanford School of Education, where her research investigated group creativity, emergent collaborative practices, and community building. As a researcher, teacher, and designer, Maryanna engages in and facilitates collaborations at the intersection of the arts and sciences. She has designed and developed programs, curricula, and media in the areas of public and mental health, including HIV/AIDS prevention programs in the US and Ethiopia and new media tools for treating child mental health disorders. Maryanna holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and an MA in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University and a BS in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University.
