Manfred BogenHead of Department Virtual Environments Manfred Bogen has an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bonn in Germany. He did his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham (UK) on quality of service evaluation in distributed environments. Since 1983 he has been working at Fraunhofer IMK (the former German National Research Center for Information Technology) as Scientist in the area of computer networks, Internet services, and digital library solutions. Since 2004 he has been Manager and Head of the Competence Center 'Virtual Environments'. Also from 2001 to 2004, Manfred Bogen was Vice President of L-Soft international Inc., Washington DC, USA. Since 2002 he has been Managing Director of L-Soft Germany GmbH. Manfred will demonstrate Reconstructing and Presenting Bernini's Borghese Sculptures. |
