James HaroldDirector Dr. Harold is the Director of Information Systems and Technology for the Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colorado. He is responsible for the development and implementation of educational software, web-based applications, and systems integration. He is an experienced multimedia software developer, graphic designer, and IT specialist. His research background in space physics, combined with his education work at SSI, helps him to translate current research results into a form accessible to the public. He has been the software development lead for the Destination Mars and Alien Earths museum exhibitions, and is the SSI project lead for the MarsQuest Online (http://www.marsquestonline.org/) and Space Weather Center (http://www.spaceweathercenter.org/) websites.
