Director of Digital Initiatives
Florida Humanities Council
As the Director of Digital Initiatives for the Florida Humanities Council, my primary project at present is managing the launch of a software/hardware prototype which will connect small museums across
the state. This interactive storytelling vehicle will curate local stories into a statewide platform. While in graduate school, I held managerial positions at the Reubin O’D. Askew Institute and the Bob Graham Center at the University of Florida. From 2011 to 2013, I worked in New York City as a Interactive Project Coordinator for Local Projects, an award winning design firm. I managed projects from conceptualization to implementation and provided clients with support throughout. In 2013 I returned to Florida to both complete my Ph.D. on the revolutionary Atlantic World and start my current position at the Florida Humanities Council.
