Retail & E-Commerce Assistant

The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco are seeking a Retail & E-Commerce Assistant. Under direction of the Retail & E-Commerce Manager, the Retail & E-Commerce Assistant is responsible for educating and serving a varied audience and providing exceptional customer service and sales; assists with Retail & E-commerce initiatives, and creates a positive experience for store customers by keeping informed about products offered for sale and promoting the Museums’ activities and programs. Provides exceptional customer service, actively selling and processing sales transactions including online and telephone orders; handles customer service operations of the department. Assists with store marketing activities, retail, corporate, and wholesale sales, general office operations of the department and performs other duties as required.

Step 1 of the pay range is $20.67 per hour.

This is a union position eligible for the Museums’ benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plus a generous time off package.

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., Wednesday through Sunday.
