Director of IT – Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco

The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco are seeking a Director of IT. The Director of IT is responsible for planning, developing, evaluating, coordinating, and managing information technology systems for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF). The Director is responsible for aligning IT with the organization’s strategy, objectives, and resources. This position provides leadership and guidance to the IT staff, consults on IT issues to management, and participates in all IT-related projects and programs at FAMSF.

Working closely with senior management and the Technology Committee of the Board of Trustees, the Director of IT enables FAMSF to deploy IT to enhance its international reputation, support its mission, and continually build and improve relationships with multiple constituencies.

The Director of IT should be skilled at achieving constructive and systematic change in the work place that is supported by thoughtful, thorough, and ongoing dialogue, collaboration, and training of FAMSF staff on systems in use and to be used.
