Position Summary

Title: Constituent Relationship Program (CRM) Manager and Strategist

Status: M&P, Full-Time

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Summary:

Responsible for overall management of the centralized constituent management
system  (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and RE NXT) and the quality of constituent
data. Serves as primary contact and advocate for all internal stakeholder
groups involved in projects and workflows regarding the ingestion, integration,
analysis, maintenance and utilization of constituent data. Responsible for
fully understanding the scope and potential application of the constituent data being collected. And as a member of the cross-institutional CRM Steering
Committee, helps to define project priorities and to drive system solutions
related to effective and efficient use of constituent data.

Responsibilities:

CRM Strategy

· Along with and as a member of the CRM Steering Committee develops the
institution-wide Constituent Relationship Management strategy and facilitates
the adoption and implementation of the strategy.

· Responsible for all aspects of constituent data in order to provide
relevant and accurate information for all internal stakeholder areas.

· Plays an active role in the growth of CRM initiatives, often as project
lead, with the CRM Steering Committee, IT, and other stakeholders and
departments.

· Provides day-to-day and long-range administrative and analytical
oversight of the Constituent Management System with overall responsibility for
user access, data integrity and usability, documentation, and user support and
training.

· Stays abreast of emerging trends within the field of constituent
databases.

· Represents the Museum professionally at conferences and with other
subject matter expert audiences.

System Analysis

· Remains current with best practices and systems’ developments within the
RE/RE NXT system for both database and user application opportunities.

· Creates reports, dashboards and other reporting tools for internal
customers.

· Collaborates with stakeholder groups (including but not limited to
Advancement, Retail, and Marketing and Communications) to define requirements
and to develop and document standards for policies, procedures, and common
workflows for constituent data to assure successful integration of Raiser’s
Edge with core systems.

· Responsible for data imports, exports, global changes, de-duping and
other administrative routines.

· Conducts user training. Develops and maintains training plans and
documentation, ensuring all users have access to relevant and current reference
materials.

· Manages system customizations and administers specific user and group
system privileges.

· Responds to end-user support requests, analyzes and resolves application
usage issues.

· Assists in system upgrades, integrations, testing, and maintenance.

· Tests and implement new policies and procedures against software
capabilities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Minimum three to four years of practical CRM system experience in a
museum or customer service organization focused on database management,
software administration, data standards and practices, and data migration.
(Blackbaud Raisers’ Edge preferred).

· Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases and data handling across
other system and web applications.

· Ability to maintain the integrity of constituent data on a timely basis.

· Excellent communication, and strong organizational and time-management
skills.

· Capability to handle multiple tasks under the pressure of deadlines.

· Attention to detail, while able to think broadly and make connections
about museum content.

· Ability to work effectively and professionally with people at all
levels, including external parties.

· Strong interpersonal skills to work positively and pro-actively across
the Museum.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
