Conxa — Thu, 15 Apr 2010 18:31:33 +0000

I've written a summary of the main ideas and points of the sessions, preceeded by some background and plenty of links, for our museum blog (the post is only in Spanish and Catalan)

In Spanish at http://bit.ly/cwnTlX and in Catalan at http://bit.ly/cH5ebk

Looking forward to the report to be presented at mw on Friday!

Participants of MW2010 can find some of the outcome already, and hopefully there will be more soon:

Thanks again to Jennifer and David for preparing this wonderful workshop.

MuseumsWiki entry for Wikimedia@MW2010

museophile — Tue, 16 Feb 2010 21:02:23 +0000

I have created a page for Wikimedia@MW2010 on the MuseumsWiki website under http://museums.wikia.com/wiki/Wikimedia@MW2010 . Anyone is welcome to add related links and information to this page or add new related interlinked pages if they wish, as part of the discussions for the Wikimedia@MW2010 workshop. Indeed, any museum-related information is welcome on this wiki.

MuseumsWiki might help

ThT — Mon, 07 Dec 2009 09:33:00 +0000

Congratulations, this workshop is a great idea. I remember many questions during the professional forum about Wikis at the MW2007 conference regarding the different approaches of scholars compared to Wikipedia. Therefore the MuseumsWiki founded by Jonathan Bowen might help museum professionals to get accustomed to a wiki style collaborative community. This forum has also a link at the MW2010 page in the MuseumsWiki.

However, there's also the WikiProject Museums in Wikipedia. I posted a notice there to let the members of the project know about your MW2010 ativities. There's a template in Wikipedia connecting with the MuseumsWiki, too.
