I'd love to take you for a run on the beach as a prize though! We should see if we can have a prize for best canine contribution...Maybe you could be deployed to shepherd us home from the reception.
Thu, 09 Apr 2009 13:58:19 +0000 jon_pratty comment 1252 at http://www.museumsandtheweb.com Ideas for remote participation http://www.museumsandtheweb.com/blog/jon_pratty/mw2009_online_mentor_jon_pratty_getting_peop#comment-1251
Hi Costis

What a great idea - we'll need to think about this. I know that Ross Parry worked with his Digital Heritage students recently to pull together Twitter comments directly as his students were in lectures! It may well be possible to seed sessions live with remotely-put questions.

We need to have a think about how to do this. Maybe we'd have a #hashtag reference for each session? Then that'd pull Twitter questions into one place?

What other channels could we use? What do people think - any ideas from the wider MW2009 audience?

Jon Pratty
Thu, 09 Apr 2009 13:55:36 +0000 jon_pratty comment 1251 at http://www.museumsandtheweb.com Great for those of us who can't make it to Indy http://www.museumsandtheweb.com/blog/jon_pratty/mw2009_online_mentor_jon_pratty_getting_peop#comment-1249
A great development. I won't be able to join you physically this year, but really look forward to following up what's going on through Jon and co's updates. Could it also open up possibillities of virtual participation, remote contribution to debates etc.?
Thu, 09 Apr 2009 05:54:29 +0000 costisd comment 1249 at http://www.museumsandtheweb.com looks like fun stuff http://www.museumsandtheweb.com/blog/jon_pratty/mw2009_online_mentor_jon_pratty_getting_peop#comment-1248
hope that there are all kinds of great posts to choose from.
Wed, 08 Apr 2009 20:40:29 +0000 slate comment 1248 at http://www.museumsandtheweb.com prizes for MW2009 on-line participation http://www.museumsandtheweb.com/blog/jon_pratty/mw2009_online_mentor_jon_pratty_getting_peop#comment-1247

We're pulling together some prizes to recognise the best on-line participation in MW2009.
