About Hiroko Kusano

Hiroko Kusano has more than 12 years in museum and non-profit management roles with a specific focus on Fundraising, Technology and Event management. She manages the Conference, Expo Hall, social events, scholarship program, AV, and volunteers for the Museums and the Web. She has worked as Special Projects Manager at the Japan Society in New York to manage the Society’s 100th Anniversary Celebration including budgeting, fundraising, planning a full year of special events including a gala, as well as all budgeting, fundraising, publications, and marketing. Prior to the Japan Society, she worked as Event and Project Manager for the Hunger Project, an International NGO in New York City supporting local, national and international fundraising events, trips, campaign, and publications; and before that she worked at a Castillani Art Museum as the manager responsible for all events, operations, various grants, website, information. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she resides in Los Angeles CA. She has a B.A., Art History and Business Administration from Canisius College, in Buffalo, NY.
