2014 DESIGN MATTERS CONFERENCE: Crafting the Story – November 12-15 – National Building Museum – Washington, DC

This year’s Design Matters Conference, presented by the Association of Architecture Organizations, takes a close look at how design-related organizations can construct more meaningful program narratives, from easy to consume stories fit for national broadcast to memorable first-person appeals to enriching curator-driven museum format presentations. Learn how to better engage audiences and inspire them to share your message with others.

The presented content is highly interdisciplinary and far-ranging, as we look to investigate our chosen theme from the perspectives of top-flight designers and industry thought leaders to professional story coaches, digital engagement gurus and media veterans to fundraising experts and managers of well-respected architectural and advocacy organizations. With an eye toward practical take-aways, several sessions also address common challenges for building organizational capacity.

If you’re involved with a not-for-profit architectural, design, or educational institution, come join your peers from across the country at the Design Matters Conference and enjoy 3 days of workshops, presentations, tours, and networking events.
