Bart Marable

Bart Marable is principal and creative director of the design firm Terra Incognita (www.terraincognita.com). After earning a Master’s degree in modern European history at Louisiana State University, Bart founded Terra Incognita in order to continue his work in developing educational interactive projects. Through Terra Incognita, he has produced projects for the National Geographic Society, the National Park Service, NASA, and the MCI Foundation, among others. Many of these projects have been recognized with the highest awards offered for Internet design, including awards from Communication Arts, High Five, NewMedia Magazine and the Internet Professional Publisher’s Association (IPPA), which has named Terra Incognita one of the top 20 design firms on the Web. Bart’s work with Terra Incognita has also been profiled in USA Today, National Public Radio, and CNN.
