Description
Panelists: Peter Samis and Glenn Barnes
It's time to give designers of mobile experiences a place to expose what they have done to the same critical review websites have received at Museums and the Web since its beginnings. Come to see examples of the best, and learn what other designers think about them.
Modeled on the art school critique, mobile projects are volunteered in advance by MW2012 attendees who are present to pose the problems they faced and respond to commentary. If you'd like to volunteer your project, please contact MW2012.
How it Works: The Crit Room is an interactive conversation between the presenter (whose mobile project is the topic of discussion), the panel, and those in the session. We have two hours in which to review mobile projects. In that time, we'll run the same process for each project:
- brief intro; the project representative will present the site briefly (max. 5 minutes) highlighting the challenges they face and the areas where they'd like feedback.
- Each of the panelists will respond with their reactions and questions for the representative (5 minutes each);
- we open up the commentary to the group in the room (10 minutes).
