Tour of the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research and Library/Archives

Abstract

Take a tour of the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center for Conservation Research, located next to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Opened in 2004, the facility houses the Institute for Conservation Research and the Zoo's Library and Archives. Attendees will see first-hand some of the work that goes on in the Institute's six labs, learn about how the Library and Archives serves the zoo's geographically diverse staff, and meet with the zoo's Social Media Planner. Lunch will be served in Center's courtyard and will provide attendees with the chance to get up close and personal with one of the Safari Park's animal ambassadors.
