Nadia Arbach joined Tate in September 2004 as the acting E-Learning Curator. She works with the Digital Programmes department, implementing the Tate's e-learning programme and coordinating related activities across the organisation. She has previously worked with research and education institutions (University of Leicester) and e-learning organisations in the commercial sector (MacKenzie Ward Research) to conduct research about e-learning in the cultural heritage sector. Her interests in the field of museum e-learning include constructivist e-learning and the ways museums can communicate to audiences through their Web sites. She has spoken about the principles and practice of e-learning at conferences, training sessions and other events. She also acts as editor of the E-Learning Knowledge Base Web site (http://ekb.mwr.biz), an on-line gateway created for museum and higher education professionals interested in e-learning resources. She has just co-authored a piece with Dr. Ross Parry (Lecturer in Museums and New Media, Department of Museum Studies, University of Leicester) on constructivist e-learning in museums: it will appear in a forthcoming MIT publication entitled Digital Cultural Heritage. She has an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester (2002), and also holds an MA in English Literature (1998) and an MA in French Literature (2000), both from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
