Julie Springer is an art historian and educator at the National Gallery of Art. In her current position as Coordinator of Teacher Programs, she is responsible for developing seminars and teaching materials that make the Gallery’s collections accessible to k-12 educators nationwide. The Gallery’s “Cyberspace Odyssey” initiative for 2001-2002, is an outgrowth of the National Teacher Institute, an annual summer seminar that offers teachers professional development and intellectual renewal in a museum setting.
