Eleanor Rubin has been the Coordinator of Access at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston since 1978. Her innovative attention to access through programs and publications have brought recognition to the MFA, Boston for its leadership in the field of Museum Access. Among the awards the Museum has received are the AAM Accessibility Award in May 1995 and The Uncommon Vision Award from Vision Community Services in 2000. New England Museum Association has published two articles about web access by Eleanor Rubin in NEMA News. The first appeared in 1996 and the latest was published in summer 2001.
