Chris Prom is Assistant Archivist and Assistant Professor of Library Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Chris has been a member of the University of Illinois Library faculty since 1999. His research interests include the retrieval of archival metadata and archival information seeking behaviors. He also is co-principal investigator for the Illinois Open Archives Initiative Metadata Harvesting Service project.
