Principles of Accessible Web Design Session: Accessibility Cultural organizations are generally dedicated to making their information available to all audiences, including those with disabilities. However, most museum Web sites are not easy to navigate or use by the hearing- and visually-impaired. This workshop will cover both the basic elements of good web design as well as the general principles of accessible design. Participants will have the opportunity to analyze their own sites and can expect to leave the workshop with specific advice on how to correct accessibility problems relating to their own web sites. |
