Senior expert / researcher in museums, cultural heritage, tangible and intangible heritage, creative arts and digital technologies. He worked since 1998 as head of Project Coordination dept of the Foundation of the Hellenic World (fhw.gr) as well as an independent expert for public and private bodies. He leaded many virtual museum projects and cultural investments such as the virtual reconstructions of ancient cities (Ancient Agora of Athens, Ancient Miletus), large scale encyclopedic and leaving history projects (ehw.gr), the design, construction and operation models of large scale innovative infrastructures and virtual museums (such as the VR museum of FHW Tholos (tholos254.gr) and Theatron, theatron254.gr/). He has participated and/or coordinated more than 50 National and European R&D and investment projects in CH, infrastructure development, virtual museums and Digital technologies, VR/3D, multimedia, data organization and metadata, archaeological GIS systems, robotics and musum applications. Actually working for the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain, in the freamework of the policy making process and stakeholders involvement project, Virtual Miltimodal Museums, as well as independent expert (consulting, design, business plan, monitoring, evaluation of digital CH projects) for various pubic and private institutions.
