A PhD research student in The Centre for Information Management - part of the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University. My research is funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council, and aims to establish how, and to what degree, museums and galleries inspire society, in order to help museums and galleries become more inspirational. I have an MSc in Computing from De Montfort University, and as part of a computing career spanning both the education and private sectors, I have participated in cultural digitisation, archiving, website development and arts and humanities research projects with DMU, the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council and Nottingham University.
