Ann Blokland
Educator
Van Gogh Museum
The Netherlands

Ann Blokland has been a Curator of Education at the Van Gogh Museum since 2006. In this capacity, she is responsible for museum interpretation and education for adult visitors. Serving an international audience of millions – both inside and outside the museum – she is always looking for the best methods and media to tell Van Gogh’s story: ranging from multimedia tours, text panels, hands-on workshops to online participation. Ann studied art history at the University of Amsterdam (M.A.), and has also worked as a curator and exhibition maker.
