Ajeng Ayu Arainikasih, M.Arts is a lecturer of museum studies at the Department of Archaeology Universitas Indonesia. Her educational background is Archaeology from Universitas Indonesia, and Art History Curatorial and Museum Studies from The University of Adelaide, South Australia. In the present day, she teaches museum subjects for both bachelor students and master students in the University of Indonesia. She also curated two temporary exhibitions (as part of her job description from the Department of Archaeology).
Besides teaching, she was also an independent museum consultant of Museum Basoeki Abdullah (2009) and Bayt Al-Quran Museum Istiqlal (2012). She also teaches at several museum workshops in Indonesia, and sometimes presented at international museum conferences.
Ajeng Ayu Arainikasih is also the founder of Museum Ceria. An independent organization specialized in creating fun active learning programs for school visit and family visitors within the museums in Jakarta.
