Last call for nomination for MWXX GLAMi Awards

This year, MW is launching a new format for our very popular Best of the Web Awards (BOW) with a new focus aimed at representing all innovation happening in the cultural sector, much of which happens beyond the web.

The Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums Innovation awards recognizes the best GLAM work in the sector. Projects are nominated by GLAM professionals from around the world and reviewed by a committee of peers.

Submissions are accepted through WednesdayMarch 16th.

About Hiroko Kusano

Hiroko Kusano has more than 12 years in museum and non-profit management roles with a specific focus on Fundraising, Technology and Event management. She manages the Conference, social events, and workshops for the Museums and the Web. She has worked as Special Projects Manager at the Japan Society in New York to manage the Society’s 100th Anniversary Celebration including budgeting, fundraising, planning a full year of special events including a gala, as well as all budgeting, fundraising, publications, and marketing. Prior to the Japan Society, she worked as Event Manager for the Hunger Project, an International NGO in New York City supporting local, national and international fundraising events, trips, campaign, and publications; and before that she worked at a Castillani Art Museum as the manager responsible for all events, operations, various grants, website, information. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she resides in Los Angeles CA. She has a B.A., Art History and Business Administration from Canisius College, in Buffalo, NY.
