The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator who will be an integral part of an in-house marketing team that develops and implements marketing and PR strategies for the Los Angeles Zoo. This role is responsible for providing project management and administrative support to the marketing team, as well as customer service functions. This position will assist in the planning and execution of marketing activities, maintain financial accountability, and increase customer satisfaction.
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the VP, Marketing and Communications and provide support to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator must be highly organized, outgoing, collaborative, strategic, and independent. A self-starter who is able to multi-task within a busy work environment, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), proven success in marketing to specific target audiences, and strong relationship-building skills. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, English or equivalent.
