Online survey questions

Hi,

Here at Te Papa, We are looking to evaluate our users as part of the first stage of the redevelopment of our website, We like to know what they like on our current site, what they would like to see, what they don't like on the current site, is it easy to find information on our site etc.

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would be willing to share with us some examples of the types of questions they may have asked in online surveys they may have developed for the same purpose.

thanks Belinda

Belinda,

It's great to see that you are looking at other survey questionnaires. Asking common questions is really important if we are going to be able to compare results across sites.

There are a number of Museums and the Web papers on evaluation and user studies that include or reference the survey instruments used. Here are some highlights:

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks so much for your help.  It will be good to compare and see how other institutions have approached this issue.

Looks like I have a lot of reading ahead of me!

Thanks once again, kind regards, Belinda
