Another Conference Newbie

I'm waiting for the train back to Connecticut after an information-packed meeting.  I've attended many a history conference (and since I'm a historian of medicine, a few medical conferences as well) but this is my first time at Museums and the Web, or at a museums conference of any sort.  I teach a digital history course for our M.A. program in Public History.  The National Council for Public History also met this week, but I decided to attend MW even though it meant passing up Florida in April.  I'm very glad I did because it gave me a greater sense of what museum and archive professionals are doing and provided some ideas on how to restructure my digital history course.  I'm wondering how many other public history professors were at MW -- I did meet a few from New Mexico Highlands University at the session on interns as agents of change.  Anyway, this was a great conference -- lots of food for thought, and lots of great food!  Once I digest it all I'll have more to write but thanks to the conference organizers and attendeees for providing such a rich professional experience.
