museumsandtheweb.com is a collaborative space for professionals creating culture, science and heritage on-line, hosted by the Museums and the Web team.

Join Us

Set up your account, and participate. Registration is free and open to all working in the field [broadly defined], or studying museum/cultural informatics. if you're already registered, update your profile with a photo and bio so others can find you and connect.

Login is required to view the full list of users, see individual user profiles, contact other users, and contribute blog, discussion or reference content.

You must be logged in to contribute content to the site. This includes:

• posting unmoderated comments
• making an MW proposal [all co-authors need accounts to manage conflict of interest]
• nominating a site for Best of the Web
• voting for the Best of the Web People's Choice Award. Accounts created in a campaign to promote a site [i.e. just to vote] will not be approved.
• contributing to the shared bibliography
• Anonymous comments are disabled. Please login to comment.

• share references to research sources about culture, science and heritage on-line, including papers presented at Museums and the Web and ICHIM.
• search by keyword, author, title [etc.]. Navigate by keyword too.
• see references, abstracts and links to full text. Registered users can export references.
